What is the Inspection Data Warehouse?
The Inspection Data Warehouse (IDW) is the repository for official inspection and weighing records for services performed under the United States Grain Standards Act and the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946. Official service providers and applicants for service (customers) can access their respective inspection and weighing results through the IDW website by selecting the Login link on this menu. Any user can view a specific IDW record by selecting the View an Individual Record link and by entering the Certificate Number, Date of Service, and Identification of the Carrier, Lot, or Sample. A third party can access specified customer records by selecting the Third Party Access Login link and entering the respective access code.

How Do I Access the Inspection Data Warehouse?
In order to access your records in the IDW, you must first establish an eAuthentication account with a Level 2 access by logging on to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) website. You begin this process online by creating a user ID and password. After responding to the email confirmation, you must visit a local USDA Service Center to verify your identity and to complete the process.

Once you have your eAuthentication account, you must then go to the FGIS Application Menu website and select the IDW application. When you attempt to login the first time, an application access request screen will appear. After you complete this on-line form, the request will be automatically sent to the application administrator for evaluation. Access to different levels of information is based on the identity and role assigned by the application administrator.

For subsequent visits, you can click on the Login link and enter your user ID and password on the USDA login screen.

Additional Requirements for Customers
In order to access your records in IDW, you must first establish a customer account in MyFGIS if you have not done so already. Once your organization has been established in MyFGIS, you must notify your service provider (FGIS Field Office or Official Agency) to include your MyFGIS Organization Number on all of your inspection and weighing records. You will need to email MyFGIS@usda.gov and request that the "IDW Customer View" role be added to your permissions set in MyFGIS. After you have been awarded the "IDW Customer View" role, you will be able to access IDW (https://fgisonline.ams.usda.gov/F_IDW/default_home_F_IDW.aspx) and view and download any service result containing your MyFGIS Organization Number.
